Hillary Middleton is a seasoned educator with a profound commitment to fostering literacy and leadership among her students. As a dedicated 5th-grade teacher at Fulton County Schools, Hillary champions both academic achievement and the vital development of social and emotional skills. Her expertise shines in her specialized approaches to teaching writing, reading comprehension, and decoding strategies, always crafted to address the unique needs of each student.
Born and raised in Eastman, GA, in Dodge County, Hillary's roots are deeply embedded in her community. As a proud alumna of the University of Georgia, her spirit and enthusiasm for the Bulldogs have not diminished. Her academic journey didn't stop at her bachelor's degree; she also holds a Master's in Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Education Administration and Supervision.
When not actively inspiring her students or collaborating with colleagues, Hillary is an avid reader and participant in the Helen Ruffin Reading Club. She explores novels like Good Different by Meg Eden Kuyatt and The Mystery of the Radcliffe Riddle by Terrance Saunders, enriching her classroom discussions. Her leisure time is filled with watching the latest television dramas, staying current with global events through news apps, and spending quality time with family, friends, and church members, all of which are integral to her life.
